noel coward’s dialogue is second to none when it comes to barbed witticisms and underhanded compliments. this play which is showing at the old vic currently is a belly-laugh laden ride through an unconventional love story.

the good lady bought the tickets but i bought the ice cream and since there are two intervals you can even go back for seconds!
