the real gent

never let it be said that i am a stick in the mud, i myself own several pairs of pantalons de nímes but nothing raises my bile more than the british public’s obsession with the jegging. simply put they are an abomination. the ‘word’ itself, which is apparently awaiting it’s entry to the oxford english dictionary, brings tears to my eyes. 

as a chap with an eye for the ladies (one in particular naturally!) i must say that these tubular nylon garments are at best unflattering and at worst downright ugly. 

ladies, please desist. even our american cousins are laughing at us.
